STARKVILLE, Miss. — The Mississippi State Bulldogs dropped game two, but now the game seems irrelevant. Amani Larry gunned down the go-ahead run in the top of the eight, and Johnny Long exchanged words with the runner.

Following their belief interaction, the benches cleared, but no punches were thrown or even a shove. However, after a 40-minute deliberation, six players in the MSU lineup were ejected.

In a 2-2 game, MSU was forced to play pitchers in the field as Luke Dotson and Khal Stephen played in right and left for the bottom of the inning.

Georgia hit a home run in the inning to take a 3-2 lead. In the bottom of the ninth, Stephen and Dotson struck out.

The game was determined by umpires, not at the game. Mississippi State head coach Chris Lemonis was rightfully upset after the game after players were ejected for leaving the field even though MSU was already on the field, and somehow Connor Hujsak and David Mershon were not ejected.

"That is bad," Lemonis said. "My team is on the field what are they supposed to do."

Mississippi State will look to take the series tomorrow at 1 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.

"We still don't know (the decision) the crew here was great," Lemonis said. "That is not the interpretation of the rule."
